Sending my prayers and condolences to the The Jackson family.I had a lot of great times hanging out with the Mayor's son(Butch) and,spending time at the Jackson Household.I remember Herb Sr. telling jokes that kept Butch and I laughing for years.I also remember Herb Sr. profiling in his white 300ZX! :) Rest in Paradise my friend.

The Class of 1962 South Carolina State University sincerely regrets the loss of our beloved classmate and past president of the Student Government Association.
Please know that Herbert was an outstanding leader and and a great friend. He had a smile that would light up a room..
His presence will certainly be missed
