On Thursday, November 16, 2017 Beloved mother of Bette Ann Burgess and Roland Poindexter, Jr. Dear grandmother of Roland Poindexter III, Quinten Burgess and Julius Poindexter. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Kalila Poindexter, Phinnaeus Lee, Shia Lee, Amirah Love Burgess and Alyvia Rose Burgess and a host of other relatives and friends.  On Saturday December 2, 2017 a visitation will be held from 10am until hour of service 11am at the Brown Memorial AME Church 130 - 14th St. NE Washington, DC Interment Private.
