On Thursday, May 11, 2017 Beloved wife of Cedric "Ricky" Smith and loving mother of Sabrina.  She is also survived by her dear grandson Jeremiah, devoted parents Christine and David Carter, Sr., siblings Samuel (Carolyn), Robert, Andre (Sheryl), Dorothy, Antionette (Leonard) and Lisa; God daughter Mieya Crosby, sister in law Kim Carter and a host of other relatives and friends.  On Friday, May 19 visitation from 9:30am until hour of service 11am at Macedonia Community Church 1026 46th St. NE. Interment Ft. Lincoln Cemetery
