Doris Linet Salmon passed peacefully on Monday, April 10, 2017.  She is survived by her son Valentine "Val" Groves; daughters Frances "Patsey" Finnigen, Avis "Brooksie" Brooks Lodge, Dr. Millicent "Milly" Muir and Loi Salmon. She is also survived by her dear grandchildren Winston, Marcia, Heather, Jason, Joel, Suzie and Leon; great grandchildren Ebony, Winston "Sebastian", Braxton, Stefan, Dorian, Timothy, Angelica, Janae, Jamal, Rusean, Dejah, Geovanni, Jayden and Brandon; siblings Robert, Inez, Kareema, Edmund and Winston Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.  Doris was predeceased by her grandson Raoul and siblings Edgerton "Brownman" Johnson, Lyndon Thompson, Louis, Seymoure, Kathlene and Osborne Johnson.  On Wednesday, April 19, 2017 a visitation will be held from 5 to 7pm at the Ebenezer Church of God 7550 Buchanan St. Hyattsville, MD 20784.  Services will continue in Kingston, Jamaica on April 29, 2017 at the Nazareth Church and burial in the church cemetery.
