Shirleen Shepherd Obituary
On Friday, July 19, 2019 the beloved mother of Theresa Francis (Joseph) and Darleen Francis (Ernest) passed away peacefully at the age of 71. She is the dear grandmother of Evans Francis, DeMarrez Butler, Krystal Francis, Tiffani Butler, Daisy Francis, Tiara Francis, Dasha Francis, and Daylah Francis and twelve great-grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings Starrez, Pedro and Francheska (Frankie), as well as a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. Shirleen was preceded in death by her father Willie D. Shepherd, mother Martha V. Shepherd, and siblings Safiya Hamid and Knicketa Shepherd.
On Wednesday, August 7, 2019 a visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the hour of funeral service at 11:30 am at New Hope AME Church located at 12310 Washington Square (Old Washington Road), Waldorf, Maryland 20601. The interment will be held directly after funeral at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, Maryland. The repast follows at New Hope.
