Adasa Elizabeth Brooks was born on December 18, 1923, in the town of Culebra, Republic of Panama, to the late Byron and Ines Pike-Severs. She was the fourth child of five siblings. Adasa met her handsome and debonair late husband, Ashton Brooks, and they married on May 14, 1961. Adasa was a long-standing member of the Mount of Olives Seventh-day Adventist church in Brooklyn, New York, and after relocating to Maryland, she attended Seabrook Seventh-day Adventist Church in 2014. Adasa peacefully fell asleep on the evening of May 24, 2021. She is survived by her sister, Lillian Brown, devoted daughter, Constancia J. Scott, beloved grand-daughter, Vielka Scott-Marcus (Darren, husband), cherished grandson, Tysone Scott, great-grandsons, Ashton and Darren, Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends, all who will miss her dearly.
