Albert Cornelius Pete DeBose II was born on November 21, 1958, in Washington, DC, the son of Corrine Elizabeth DeBose Hager and Albert Cornelius Pete DeBose who left his earthly home suddenly on October 30, 1968.
Pete, as he was called by everyone who knew, was baptized in the Baptist Church of Pastor C.L. Long where he served and taught whatever he learned from the Bible. He attended public schools in Washington, DC, and mastered Mathematics. There was nothing Pete did not know about math.
Pete, being a jack-of-all-trades, held several jobs, with construction. From Roofing, Bricklaying, Scaffolding, to Forklift driving. He was also a Handyman for fixing any household issues. Being the handy man that he was, Pete always found time to cook and was great at it.
Pete was a peaceful person who loved to keep the peace among everyone, but whenever he tells a story, you can believe you’re going to hear it over and over again, making sure you heard him, and you were taught. Preceding him in death are his father, Albert C. DeBose; sister, Donna Fitzgerald; and sister, Karen DeBose.
Memories will be cherished by his mother, Corrine Hager; grandmother, Mary Brown; sisters: Juanita Smith; Ticia DeBose; Natalie DeBose; brother, Kevin DeBose; Fiancée, Sheila Wiggins; Best friend, Willie Webb; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
