Andre' Maurice ("Dre") Duckett, Sr.

Andre' Maurice Duckett, Sr. transitioned peacefully on Friday, May 8, 2020 in Doctor's Hospital.  He was born in Washington, DC to the late Lois and Robert Lee Duckett, Sr.; raised in Glenarden and had lived in Lanham for many years up until his passing.  Dre', as he is affectionately called is the beloved husband of Deborah J. Duckett; loving father of two children Andre' M. Duckett, Jr. (Kerryn) and Ashley N. Duckett; devoted grandfather to Alani T. Duckett, Ashton C. Duckett and Avery C. Best and dear brother to Gregg A. Duckett, Ronald E. Duckett (Delphine) and the late Robert L. Duckett, Jr. and Lonnie C. Duckett.  He is also survived by a host of other relatives, friends, and his funeral industry family.

On Tuesday, May 19, 2020 family, friends and colleagues will have the opportunity to pay their final respects between the hours of 4 and 8 pm here at the funeral home.  Please be mindful that in an effort to maintain social distancing, we will allow a steady "walk through" so not to have more than 10 persons in our chapel at any given time.  Out of respect and the safety of others, we ask that you not enter the facility if you are not wearing a mask.
