He is the beloved husband of Dr. Diane Akers, and loving father of Monica Akers-Terrelonge and Anthony Akers, Jr. He is also survived by his dear grandchildren Camoni (Maurice) Griffin, Princess Senior and Anika Terrelonge; great grandchild Ayah Griffin; devoted sister Deatria Williams (Stephen) and a host of other relatives and friends.
