Anthony Gerald Brown was born September 22, 1957 at DC General Hospital, in Washington, DC, to Dorothy R and Julious Brown. Known as “Stinky” to his family and “Tony” or “T Brown” to his friends. He departed this life on December 4, 2023.
Anthony grew up in Washington, DC and attended DC public schools. He went on to dedicate over twenty years of his life in service to the employees and visitors of the Nation Institutes of Health as a Cook. He transitioned to the Wyndham Hotels & Resort where he was the Head Cook until he retired. To keep busy he worked at Walmart as a Greeter and Cashier.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy R and Julious Brown. Surviving to cherish his memory are his two sons Anthony and Antwan Brown, his siblings Susie Ebiringa and Julius (Tiffany) Brown. Additionally, he leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends who deeply miss him. Anthony will be laid to rest alongside his mother, Dorothy Robinson Brown, at the Robinson Family Cemetery, in Wallace, NC.
