On Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the Fort Washington Medical Center, Betty Lou Best Black transitioned to be with the Lord.  She is the loving mother of Dennis (Rosalind), Portia (Michael), Deborah (Melvin), James  (Lucretia), Donald (Monica), Marshall (Cathy) and the late Tony and Dollie. Dear grandmother to Brittanee, Jayden, Ca'von, D'erra, Rahmel, Melvin, Jr., D'Von, Avonne, Dennis Jr., Wesley, Quentin, Jean, Brooks, Don-Antonio, Maria, Donnell, Jalissa, Katia, Kyle, Viola, Jayden, Zajanine, Tony, Jr., and the late Donald, Jr..  She is also survived by a host of great grandchildren, one brother Bishop Herbert Best (Colleen) many other relatives and friends.  On Thursday, December 12th a visitation will be held from 10 am until hour of service 11am at the Peace Baptist Church 712 -18th St. NE Wash., DC  Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery Washington, DC
