Surrounded by her loving family, she passed away at home in SE Washington, DC. on May 25, 2022. Geraldine was born on January 15, 1916, to the late Gladys Winnifred Kennedy and Cyril Innis in Guyana, South America. She is the beloved wife to the late Frederick Cecil McCrae and dear sister to her late siblings Donald, Paul and Bertilla. Geraldine is survived by her loving children, Jeannette Carr, Ernest McCrae, Gillian McCrae, Cecelie Mason, Valerie (Victor) Samuels, Barbara (Horace) Henderson, Hazel McCrae, Carol Ruffin, Ian (Christine) McCrae, Orin (Debra) McCrae, Loris (Rosita) McCrae, Adrian (Felecia) McCrae, Sydney (Islay) McCrae, and Petal Amanda McCrae; 42 Grandchildren; 73 Great-Grands; 29 Great-Great Grands; and 2 Great-Great-Great Grands; her beloved Goddaughter, Johnette Embrack; her very special nieces, Odieth Roxanne Gray and Euna Reid; as well as other loving nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends.
