Carl Ernie ("Mickey") Newman

Carl "Mickey" Newman peacefully departed this world on January 18, 2025, at the age of 87. He was a beloved girl dad, exceptional provider, skilled x-ray technician, and professional jazz percussionist. Mickey was a dedicated father to his daughters, Vicki Barber and Karla Newman, both named in his honor. His legacy of love endures through his grandchildren Whitney Ochoa (Celeste), Briana Barber (Kat Smith), Daniel Clark, and his great-granddaughter Avery Ochoa. Mickey shared 23 years of marriage with Camille Newman, the mother of his children, and their friendship and care for one another persisted until his last breath. Additionally, he shared a 41-year partnership with Deborah Byrne (deceased) and her daughter, Amy Byrne-Crowell (Gene). He is survived by his two sisters, Norma Sewell and Yvonne Corbett (Kenneth), as well as various relatives and friends.
