Carolyn was a quiet, and thoughtful person. She was very dedicated to her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She regularly invested into their future, especially financially when they attended college. She loved spending time with her family and friends, enjoying endless holidays and birthdays. During her illness, her physical therapist asked her “what would make her happy?” and she replied “spending time with my family.” She also loved listening to music, some of her favorite artists were Luther Vandross and Patty LaBelle. She enjoyed sports, and was an avid Washington Commanders fan, until transferring her allegiance to the Ravens. She loved watching tennis, her favorite though was watching competitive reality TV programs, such as Survivor. Carolyn had a big heart and will be sorely missed.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her brothers Willie Moton, Columbia, SC, Raymond Moton, and two sisters, Delores Carroll, and Gloriet Moton Vinson (Charles), all of MD. She also leaves to mourn many nieces, and nephews that loved her dearly: Tonya Shackelford, Pasca Moton, Aubrey Moton, Kevin Mimms, Melinda Ubochi (Marvin), Bernard Moton, Jr., Terri Nelson, Samara Taft, Landis Moton, Latasha Murray, Latoria Gaither (Joseph), Mutima Johnson, Maegan Wilhite, Whitney Wilhite, and Hugh Wilhite, brother-in-law.
