Charles Holmes, Jr.

Through his brilliant smile, his funny jokes, and his loving clowning dance moves, Charles brought laughter and joy to all who knew him. Though he may be gone from our sight, his love and light will forever illuminate our lives. 

Charles is survived by his three children: Charles Holmes III (Terry), Lisa Diggins (Willie), and Joseph Holmes (Loleta), as well as grandchildren Joseph Holmes (Danielle), Joseph Holmes Jr., Jaxon Holmes, Yara Holmes, and great-granddaughter Aubrey Holmes. Surviving siblings include brothers Lee Holmes (DC) and James Holmes (Jane) (DC), and sisters Mammie Holmes (NC), Dorothy Lofton (MD), and Ann Hill (Elbert) (NC). He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by six siblings and one grandchild, Porshia Da’Shaune Holmes. Though he may no longer be with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
