Courtney leaves behind her mother, Tina C. Johnson; her father, Warren A. Banks; her sister, Alexis Johnson; uncles, John H. Johnson and Johnathan Marvin Johnson (Lorease); great aunts Theresa Dickerson, Ernestine Law, Shirley Petty, and Rachel Petty; her bonus father, Desi Jackson; her godmother, Sonya Abraham; and a host of cousins and friends who were like family. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Carrie Johnson Dudley, and her grandfather, John Henry Johnson Jr.
Courtney's personality was larger than life - vibrant, confident, and full of passion. She had a heart of gold, an unforgettable smile, and a spirit that lit up every room. A natural go-getter, she approached every challenge with an "I got this" attitude and never backed down from her dreams. Courtney lived boldly, loved deeply, and left an unforgettable mark on everyone who knew her. She is deeply loved and will be missed beyond words.
