David Alan Ferguson, born October 5, 1956, in Baltimore City to the late Anita Garrett, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Educated in Baltimore City schools, David later enlisted in the Maryland National Guard, serving honorably before embarking on a career as a contracted security officer. In 1984, he welcomed his greatest blessing, his son William, into the world. In 2004, David found love and companionship with his devoted wife, Cheryl. Together, they shared years of joy, travel, and enduring memories.
David is survived by his loving wife Cheryl; his son William; his mother-in-law Clara; sisters-in-law Cecelia, Anita, and Carla; brothers-in-law Francisco, Leroy, and Joseph; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
David’s life was marked by love, service, and resilience. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.
