Dawn Rondell (Shivers) Washington

Dawn Rondell Washington, beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025, at the age of 51. Born in Washington, D.C., Dawn grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland, and eventually made her home in Fort Washington, where she built a beautiful life with her husband, Patrick Washington, and their cherished son, PJ.

Dawn had an infectious personality that lit up every room she entered. She loved to laugh, connect with others, and bring joy wherever she went. Her love for people was boundless, and she embraced everyone with genuine care and warmth. Above all, Dawn was a devoted mother. Her love for PJ knew no limits, and she was a fierce advocate for his well-being, always ensuring he had everything he needed to thrive.

She leaves behind a loving husband Patrick Washington,  and beloved son Patrick Jr. Along with her maternal aunts Arlene Chambers, Nicole Jones, Rowena Gear and Shelia Gear Israel as well as a host of cousins, God children, family and friends who adored her.
