Doris Marie (Murphy) Jackson

With heavy hearts but joyful memories, we announce the passing of Doris Marie Jackson. Doris transitioned on June 26, 2024, at the age of 90. Doris was the treasured wife of the late Eugene O. Jackson for almost 60 years; beloved mother of Dr. Yvonne M. Jackson and super proud grandmother of Xavier Gaston. She also leaves the following loved ones to cherish her memory: a devoted brother Roy Murphy (Anne); God children Demitri Kornegay (Angela), Rodrick Henderson (Gwen) and Kellie Lomax (Who); The Golden Girls, The Weston Avenue Pokeno Club and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and lifelong friends especially Helen Green and Ann Higdon.
