Elder went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 26, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Mother Sandra B. Sanford; his only child, Frederick Lamar Sanford; five siblings, Anner Doss, Mattie McSwine, Doris Reed, Everlyn Johnson (WC) and Otis (Elaine) Sanford, four sister-in-loves, Beverly Parks, Rev. Decorious Vines (Rev. Willie), Gloria Kay (Felix), Theresa Best, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
