Fred Edward Smith followed the angels home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 5, 2023. He was predeceased by his loving and devoted wife, Vernell Smith. Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Patricia Lee (Clinton) and Freda Clark (Donald); four grandchildren, Lenessa and Barbara Terry, Jamien Clark, and Tamara Swinson (Ilandus); ten great and four great-great grandchildren; two brothers, James and Harold Smith, Godson Antonio Philson and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
