Giles Nathaniel Cooke Jr. entered eternal rest on April 11, 2024. He was one of eight children: America (Deceased), Major, Sarah (Deceased), Rutherford "Bobby" (Deceased), Lynndey, James (Jimi), and Sybol.
A devoted follower of Christ, he joined Rhema Christian Center Church in the 1980's, serving as a Deacon and participating in the Prison Ministry at Rhema and later on at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden. Raised in Lusby, Maryland, he graduated from William Samson Brook's High School and served in the US Army for six years after being inducted in 1963. Giles worked for over thirty years at Rodman's Discount Drugs, becoming a cherished member of the Rodman family.
He is survived by his former spouse Gale Cooke, his four daughters, Patrice, Elise, Christina, and Victoria, and one granddaughter, Nyah Ofori.
