Glenn Rhodel Reynolds was born August 5th, 1940, to the late Walter and Mary Reynolds. He departed this life on October 5th, 2023 after a lengthy illness. Two brothers preceded him in death, Donald R. (Vivian) and Charles D. Reynolds (Theresa), as well as one sister Emma L. Reynolds
Glenn, the 4th of 10 children, grew up in Rocky Mount, Virginia and accepted the Lord during his early years. He was a bright student and graduated high school at the age of 16 years old. He later moved to Washington, DC where he met the love of his life and wife of 59 years, Helen Flowers. Through this union they had one daughter, Rosalind, and one grandson, Bruce.
Glenn worked for over 20 years at Woodward & Lothrup Department Store in several positions and served as a shop steward for their local union. He also did security for 10 years and during that time he filmed a shoplifting commercial that ran regularly on local television.
He was also quite an avid bowler introducing the sport to his daughter and nieces and nephew. He loved reading, puzzle solving, watching Family Feud and Jeopardy.
He leaves to cherish his memory. his loving and devoted wife Helen, one daughter Rosalind Bradley (Charles) of Bowie, MD, one grandson Bruce Carter of Laurel, MD, four brothers William Aaron (Maggie), Robert (Armmy Jean), Gerald Leroy (Lillie Mae), Marvin (Vonnie), two sisters Arlene (Freddie), and Shirley. Two sisters-in-laws Annie Streeter (Linda, Katrina, Malcolm), Emma Jones, and a host of other relatives and friends.
