Gloria Jean Cooper

Gloria Jean Cooper, born on July 29, 1947, peacefully passed surrounded by her loved ones on April 12, 2024. She was the beloved daughter of the late James and Doris Cooper , the devoted mother of her one and only son, Michael Abe Cooper, and the loving mother-in-law of Nytika. Jean leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth, cherished by her seven grandchildren: Mike Toomer, Acacia Yates (Chris), Marcus, Cameron, Michya, Montell, and Morgan Jean Cooper.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael O. Cooper, and is survived by her siblings: James (Shirley), Ronald (Rita), and Gwen Evans-Cooper (Sam). Additionally, Jean will continue to live on in the hearts of her four great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who were touched by her kindness, vibrance, and grace.
