Gloria Jobe Davis, affectionately known as Sally Jobe, was born on April 24, 1940, in Point Fortin Trinidad, to her beloved parents, the late Munroe and Mary Elizabeth Jobe. Growing up in Point Fortin, Gloria was surrounded by the love of her four siblings and the warmth of her community. She attended Point Fortin EC, where she developed a love for education and forged enduring friendships. In the late 1970s, she migrated with her seven children to the United States, settling with her family in Washington, DC.
On April 7, 1984, Gloria exchanged vows with her beloved George Davis (deceased) at St. Augustine Catholic Church. She was active in the church community at St. Augustine, where she served as an Usher for three decades. She chose a career in Healthcare and served as a Home Health Aide for 22 years.
Gloria's proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly her family, which included her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She instilled in her children the values of perseverance, hard work, and the importance of education. Her legacy of love, kindness, and faith will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched.
