Jamaal Akeel Jones

Jamaal Jones, lovingly known as Jamaalie, born January 28, 1995, departed this life on February 14, 2026. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy continues through his sons, Isaiah White and Kyrie Jones.

Jamaal did not need many words to make an impression. His quiet presence brought comfort, and his warm, playful spirit often revealed itself in gentle humor and goofy moments that made others smile. He had a way of making people feel at ease simply by being himself. Without ever trying to, he encouraged those around him to walk their own path and showed us the value of living free from the weight of others’ opinions.

A God-fearing man, Jamaal cherished the life he was given and the family he loved so deeply. His greatest joy was being a father to his two sons, and his love for them shaped every choice he made. He relocated to Texas with a willing heart, making sacrifices so his family could have opportunities he believed they deserved. Jamaal was devoted and protective of his children, his mother, and his sister—quietly watching over them with steady love and care.

Those who knew Jamaal will remember the way he loved—without conditions, without hesitation, and often without needing recognition. His life reminds us to check on one another, to listen with patience, and to lead with compassion.

He is survived by his children, Isaiah White and Kyrie Jones; his parents, Leslie-Ann Jones and Robert Clarke; and his sister, Justine Jones.
