Jason Jeremy Moore

Jason Jeremy Moore also known as “Jay”, “Trini”, and “Gangalee” was born on February 25, 1980 in Trinidad and Tobago, to Patrick and Joan Moore. Jason enjoyed his early boyhood days in Boissiere Village #2, Maraval as the 6th of 9 children and the youngest of his six brothers.  Prior to migrating to the U.S. in 1997, Jason attended Mucurapo Senior Comprehensive School and after, relocating, to live with his father, Jason resumed his education at Duval High School in Lanham, Maryland and obtained his high school diploma. Upon graduation Jason worked alongside his father where he learned and developed skills as a lighting and audio technician, a profession he truly enjoyed.  Jason and Michelle who wed in 2007, spent fourteen plus years together raising their children: Janine, Jayda, Jamel, and Jazmene. Jason is also survived by his mother, Joan Moore, brothers: Patrick, Roger, Marlon, Wynstead, Reubelto, and Sean; sisters: Wendy, Joannah, Kristen, and Natalie, uncle: Martin aunts: Mary, Vilma, Editha, Sheila, and Carol, and a host of cousins who loved him dearly; namely: Richard, Ricardo, Judy, Christine, Marsha, Mark, Carson, Winnie, and Wendell. Jason was loved by many, and I am sure each one of you can recall a happy and positive experience that you shared with him. Despite his struggles, Jason loved his family and his friends, and he would not hesitate to take the shirt off his back and give it to anyone who needed it.  Sadly, Jason died on March 20th, 2023, at the age of 43 and he will be greatly missed.
