Jean’s presence, beautiful smile, compassionate heart, and her great humor will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband Melvin Neal; Daughter, Janet Champagnie, Timothy Neal (Erika); grandchildren, Shanyan, Erik, T’Nia, Trevor Jr., and Niya. Siblings, Melvin (Mary), Elaine, Evelyn, Janice (John), Jerome, Louis, Iris, Cynthia, Tawana, Deborah, Andre’, Karen, and Stacy (Damian). Father-in-law James E. Neal, brothers and sisters-in-law Jean Williams, Gordon Neal (Rose) Darlene Midgette (Wiredell) James Neal, and Byron Neal. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special friends, Trevor Champagnie Sr, Patricia Neal, Mary McKinney, and Eva Henson.
Jean had so much life and joy to give to all that knew her.
Her legacy of love and sweet spirit will continue to live in the hearts and minds of all that had the pleasure of knowing this amazing “Woman of God!”
