She leaves to cherish her loving memory of her beloved husband of 35 years, Schooler David Allen Jr.; her son, Michael Shawn Butler; her bonus daughter, Kimberly Johnson; and son-in-law, Kevin Johnson. She also leaves her beloved siblings: Delores Gordon, Pearl Dowe, and Paul Butler. Joy was preceded in death by her sister Mildred “Michelle” Green and her brother Archie Butler, both of whom transitioned last year. She also leaves to cherish her memory of her beloved grandchildren: Braylen Renard Abernathy, Brea Janea Butler, Kayla Dhanyae Jones, Kendra Iyana Adeline, Devin Christopher Butler, Morgan DaNae Fowler, Brittany La’Shay Taylor, Michael Shawn Hubbard, Meikel Travence Sprauve, Dana Hubbard,: her treasured great-grandchildren: Adriani Denice Adeline, Jaiseem Liston Cruz Sprauve, Mikala Hubbard and Michael Hubbard Jr.
