Karen Olivia Creasy

On April 9, 2022, Karen Olivia Creasy of Upper Marlboro, MD transitioned to her eternal heavenly resting place.  Born December 27,1953 in Palmyra, Virginia, Karen is the daughter of the late Eugene Marshall Creasy and Viola Randolph Creasy.  Karen leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted sons, Darren Jermaine Creasy and Melvin Lorenzo Creasy; grandchildren Zsah Smith, Zahreeia Venegas (Armando), Zechariah Smith, Dasani Creasy, Omari Cooper and great grandson, Noah Venegas. She is also survived by her siblings, Dolores Thomas, Doris Morton (James), Sharon Johnson, Janice Bradley, Joseph Creasy (Regina), David Creasy (Hazel), and William Albert Creasy, a host of other loving relatives, friends and adored church members.  She was preceded in death by her sister Minnie Ebo and brothers. Windsor, Carl, James, Charles Robert and Tommie Creasy.

Karen was a member of Zion Church and served as a missionary, worship group leader, bible study scholar and passionately loved the Lord and serving others.  Karen retired from the United States Department of Commerce Patent and Trademark Office in 2018 after an esteemed 39 year career.
