Kenneth Guest Obituary

Mr. Kenneth Eugene Guest was born on January 31, 1935, to Ethel and Walter Guest, Sr. in Sunset, Louisiana. Kenneth attended James B. Dudley High School. He was a member of Saint Peters Catholic Church in Waldorf, Maryland.

He worked for Calvert Senior High School Vocational School as a chef/ teacher. He loved being a teacher that helped students find their passion for cooking. He loved entertaining friends, family, and co-workers. His love of family was demonstrated by how he put his family first and lived by the motto of "one for all and all for one'.

He departed this life on June 1 O, 2021, at Fairland Center in Silver Spring, Maryland.  Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; former wife, Juanita Guest; and children, Debra Guest, Michael Guest, and Linda Guest.

Left to cherish his memory are his former wife, Janice Foxx; wife, Lorraine Guest; children, Jacquelyn Foxx, Marilynn Saoifanua, Bernard Guest, Gerard Guest and Edward Guest; grandchildren, Aaliyah Guest, Andrea Foxx, Darion Guest, Eugene Guest, Kristina Foxx-Wade, Leilani Saoifanua, Lynita Guest, Marcus Guest, Nofotolu Jr. Saoifanua, Sherrell Foxx; 􀀔ister, MaryAnn Coleman; niece, Kathy Coleman; nephew, Steve Coleman; and a host of great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

A service honoring his life will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 812 Duke Street Greensboro, NC 27401, On Saturday, June 19, 2021. The visitation will begin at 11:00am and the service will follow at 11:30am. Burial Forest Lawn Cemetery.
