LaDwayna Patrice Thomas

LaDwayna P. Thomas, was born on February 16, 1966, in Chicago, Illinois to the parents of Camilla and Lawrence.  She attended Fenger and Chicago Vocational High School and received her high school diploma.

LaDwayna, (Cat) was beautiful, passionate, spontaneous,  adventurous, bold, confident, generous but not naïve, strong yet soft, stubborn most times as well as sensible, lived every day to the fullest, hard-working, funny and loving. She loved listening to music, the arts, trying new foods, bargain shopping, traveling with her daughter, Abrynnai (Mouse) and she had an immense love for African American Heritage and History.  She enjoyed cooking and was very skilled at it.  LaDwayna was a ‘Jack of All Trades’ as she was a writer, businesswoman, hair stylist, caterer, teacher, auditor, and she worked within the entertainment industry.  She also loved cats, the color purple and chocolate.

LaDwayna fell ill and remained in a declined health state for a few years. On, Monday, April 25, 2022, she made her transition.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved daughter,  Abrynnai; her mother, Camilla Allen, her sister, Andrea Wiggins (Heyward Wiggins IV), her brother, Anthony Allen, her niece, Brielle Wiggins and nephew, Heyward Wiggins V, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
