Marie Kittrell

On Tuesday, August 15, 2023 Marie was suddenly  graduated into glory and joined her large immediate family consisting of her parents,  Daniel W. and Rosa Lee Kittrell, Sr.,  and 8 siblings : Paul, Delano, Curtis, George, Delores, Doris, Rosa and Mary Valeecia who preceded her in death.  

She leaves to cherish her memory her fraternal twin sister, Marion Rodgers(Calvin), sisters: Vernell Marshall(Elijah) , Thelma Kittrell and 1 brother: Daniel W. Jr.; a host of nieces and nephews, and one great, great niece.  

Marie was born in the winter of 1945  seven (7) minutes  after her sister, Marion in Washington, D.C.  She and Marion were child # 8 and 9 and 4 more siblings were born,  increasing the family size to 13 children. Marie was educated in the D.C. Public school system and graduated from Dunbar High School, Class of 1963.
