Martin Luther Hill

Martin L. Hill of Mitchellville, Maryland passed away on March 31, 2024.

Martin, fondly known as Marty, was born to Minnie Warfield on August 22, 1938 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was raised in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania where he excelled in sports as a youth. After high school Marty enlisted in the military where he would serve 27 years in the United States Air Force traveling the world. He also enjoyed a career in the Federal government working at the Department of Veterans Affairs .
 

He is survived by his former spouse Coretha Hill, his son Maurice, and granddaughter Tiana. He is also survived by his partner, Brenda Baggott. Marty was predeceased by his mother, Minnie Hill Warfield.

Aside from his love of hand dancing, watching old westerns and playing the slots, Marty was passionate about helping others. He positively impacted our community, and he will be truly missed.

Mr. Hill's wishes for a graveside service in the Arlington National Cemetery will be honored and shared once determined.
