Mary Elizabeth (Anderson) Davisson

Mary Elizabeth Davisson,  a mother, daughter, sibling, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025.  She was born and raised in Johnston County, NC.  Mary eventually made her home in Maryland where built a beautiful life with her daughter, Marissa.

A woman of remarkable talent and unwavering faith, Mary touched countless lives through her many gifts. Mary was gifted in accounting, writing, teaching, and singing. Her smile and her compassion uplifted friends and strangers alike. Mary’s devotion to her daughter, Marissa, was fierce and enduring. She found joy in Christian music, writing, and the quiet moments spent in meditation. She often could be found supporting family and friends in their endeavors.

She leaves behind a beloved daughter, Marissa. Along with her siblings, cousins, and as well as a host of cousins, family, and friends.
