McKever Peoples, Jr., born September 25, 1943, in Washington, D.C., transitioned to be with Our Lord and Savior on October 28, 2023. Mac (as he was affectionately known), leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Carolyn; two daughters, Sheri and Khristal; two grandchildren, Thomas and Imani; three brothers, Darnell, Rickey and Theodore (Sylvia); two sisters, Carrie Harrison (Isaiah), Terry Peoples-Stewart; four sisters-in-law, Shirley Pittman, Sandra Tapscott, Tamara Tapscott, Karen Vinson (Gregory), Natalie Wood (Bernard); a loving uncle and aunt, Turner Pittman and Hattie Henderson; a longtime friend Dwight Jacobs and goddaughter, Karen Jacobs; and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins. Mac was preceded in death by his parents, McKever Peoples, Sr. and Ethel Lee Peoples; daughter, MacKenzie Peoples; brothers, Walter, William, Douglas, Robert Lee, Edward and Jackie, and godson Darnell N. Peoples.
