Melvin LaGrand Diggs

Melvin LaGrand Diggs born November 8, 1931, was the 10th child of the late Betsy and Frank Diggs.  He departed this life on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.  Melvin has now entered into eternal peace and is now reunited with his former late wife Lucille; son Reginald;  brothers William, John, James, and Winfred; and sisters Sarah, Estelle, Josephine, Betty, and Dorothy.

He leaves to cherish his memories, four children, Donna Diggs of Washington, DC; LaGrand Diggs(Antika) of Bowie, MD; Darlene Workcuff(Vincent)of Waldorf, MD; Melva Cramer(Johnson) of Upper Marlboro, MD; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; Doris Taylor, special friend; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Melvin will be missed by all.
