Michael Van ("Mike") Brooks, Sr.

On Wednesday Morning, December 4, 2024, Michael Brooks, affectionately known as “Mike” or “Nehi Mike” slipped peacefully into his eternal rest. Mike had a deep love for spending time with family and friends. When Mike was in the room, the debate game was always in full effect.

Mike is survived by Danielle, his devoted wife of 37 years. He is also survived by their children,  Monet, Deion, Takayla, and Michael  Jr.  Six grandchildren Yarah, Lai’dy, Lai’lah, Lai’yanna, Deion Jr. and Joelle. Mother Brenda Brooks, Sisters Talisha Brooks, Brenda Hawkins, and brother Christopher Brooks. He was preceded in death by his father William Fox Sr. Michael will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
