Rev. Dr. Alfonso John Harrod

The Rev. Dr. Alfonso J. Harrod, 98 of Washington, DC born January 3, 1924,  quietly and peacefully entered eternity on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.  Dr. Harrod, an Arkansas native, was a United Methodist pastor serving several congregations in Wash., DC and Maryland.  He leaves his wife, Elsie Shaw Harrod; a cherished daughter, Nannette Virginia Owens; grandchildren, LaVerne Owens-Alexander and Jamar Owens, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
