Richard Eugene Davis, Sr.

Richard Eugene Davis, Sr. was called into eternal rest on Friday, November 4, 2022. He was born on March 22, 1944, in New Salem, PA to James and Bessie Davis and was the fifth of eight children.  A dedicated husband, devoted father, and friend to many, his booming voice and gregarious personality will be sorely missed. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Bessie Davis, brothers, Bob, James, Leonard, Warren, Sr. and sisters, Joyce Perry, and Mary Davis.  He leaves to mourn his wife, Margaret, of Mitchellville MD; sons, Richard Jr, and Ernest; sister, Maxine Walton; aunts Rev. Rosalyn Werner, Mrs. Marion Summers, and Mrs. Angeline McLee; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
