Rodney Tolen

Rodney Tolen was born in Batesburg, South Carolina. He was eight years old when he relocated to the Washington, DC area. Not long after that, Rodney gave his life to Christ. Rodney developed a love for ministry to the youth and he worked at Camp Dynamite. He soon became a Youth Pastor and ministered to the inner city youth. Rodney studied to be an Emergency Medical Technician and then became a Registered Nurse.  He received his Bachelor degree in Biblical Studies.  Rodney was known for his ability to listen to other people’s problems and offer some of the best advice. His days started with personal bible study and he enjoyed Sunday School and watching the online Church Service. He loved country music, old hymns and worship music. He enjoyed performing skits and illustrated sermons. It was amazing to see him in his clown outfit doing magic tricks for children and seniors. Rodney loved his sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and his friends.
