She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Freddie Mitchell Sr.; her loving children, Shauntá A. Mitchell, Sheri Y. Mitchell, and Freddie Mitchell Jr. (Denise); her brothers, Lewis Powell, George Lee Powell, and Eddie Perry Powell Jr.; her beloved grandchildren, Alonte Mitchell Sr., Addyson R. Mitchell, Unique Mitchell, Freddie Mitchell III, LeCeddrick Mitchell, and Shania Mitchell; and her precious great-grandchildren, Scott Mitchell, Amari Mitchell, Riley Mitchell, and Carlos Flores. She is also survived by a host of cousins, extended family, and dear friends.

Joyce Ann Powell-Mitchell will be remembered for her unwavering love, her dedication to service, and the lasting impact she made on those around her. Her legacy of kindness, strength, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
