Susie Mae Ebiringa passed away on March 23, 2025, surrounded by her children and grand-children. Susie was born May 16, 1953, in Wallace, NC, to Julious and Dorothy Brown. As a youngster she came to Washington, DC. She attended DC public schools and Federal City College. For more than three decades Susie worked as a civil servant for the US Library of Congress, the Office of Personnel Management, the Department of the Navy, the Department of the Army and finished her career at the US Peace Corps, where she retired in 2008, as a Human Resource Generalist.
Susie will be lovingly remembered by her children, Tyrone and Lucretia; her grandchildren, Tyrone (Shermika), Tyese, Tylib and Dane′e; her great-grandchildren, Dior, Milanie and Tysen, her fourth great-grandson is arriving in August; her brother Julius (Tiffany) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Susie is joined in rest by her parents, Julious and Dorothy and her youngest brother, Anthony, along with many other loved ones throughout her life. Susie was an avid traveler and enjoyed clear-water tropical beaches. She was also a lover of arts and crafts, playing cards, singing and hosting parties for her family and friends. Most importantly, Susie was a woman of faith and enjoyed church and loved God.
