Tausha Sabrina (Spears) Benedict

Tausha Sabrina Spears Benedict, 54, of Laurel, MD, passed away peacefully on February 14th.  Tausha was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania on February 11, 1970 to Beverly Ann
and Willie Wilson. She grew up with a loving family including her Dad, Thomas Spears. Tausha and her Mom relocated to Maryland when she was 9-years-old. She lived in Prince George’s County graduating from High Point High school. After graduation she continued her studies including working towards a certification to become a Medical Assistant. Tausha was very artistic and creative with a natural talent for interior design.  Her creative side extended to her joy of writing and her love of music. She followed an eclectic set of artist but she was one of Prince biggest fans. Many of her dreams were delayed due to her health challenges over the years but recently, she had overcome and learned to live through them becoming her mother’s primary caregiver.  Tausha is survived by her loving mother, Beverly and her Dad, Thomas as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and other assorted family and many caring friends.
