I am so sorry about the lost of your dear loved one. It is a great source of encouragement to know that the greatest gift ever given releases us from our last enemy, death. I'm hoping that the Family of The Honorable William D. Missouri find comfort and hope in this promise from our Creator, ". . . Delores and family: just wanted to send my condolences in the passing of Judge Missouri..I had the privilege of working with him during my tenue in the State's Attorneys Office and when he was appointed to the bench. I will always consider him more than a co-worker but a true friend. He truly loved his family and always conned me into delivering the girls scout cookies around the courthouse..wouldnt trade those fun times..So prayers are being sent to comfort all of you during this difficult time.

My deepest condolences to the family of Judge William D. Missouri. I was privileged to be Judge Missouri's last judicial intern, as he was a model of legal acumen. I am eternally grateful for Judge Missouri, as he helped to jump start my career with his words of encouragement and support. Judge Missouri's warm greetings and kindness will be sorely missed.

Dear Mrs. Missouri and Missouri family, Please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences on your loss of Judge Missouri. I enjoyed my friendship with Judge Missouri. He was a fair and conscientious judge and a great administrative judge. He was tough on those who deserved it, but always a gentleman. He was unpretentious despite his accomplishments. Many years back, I was trying to get my laptop through security for the start of several week trial when you had to have a letter from Judge Missouri to bring your laptop to court. Judge Missouri magically appeared and told the police officers that I was okay and that I could bring my laptop in without a letter anytime. After that, I got the red carpet treatment and waived through. He was a great mentor and example for me and for other lawyers. His loss is a loss for all of us. I am so sorry. Debbie

Our deepest condolences to Delores and family on the passing of our dear friend and ardent supporter Judge Missouri. Whenever I met him he was first and foremost asking how the boys were doing and was quick to accept our request to come as the guest speaker at our Eagle Scout Ceremony. All of our scouts over the years were blessed to have him in their corner.

May his soul rest peacefully and he continue as a soldier in the Lord's army watching over the youth of our parish. We will miss his cheerful smile. Peace be with you always Bill.

One by one we come to this earth and one by one we leave it. What's important is that which we leave for others to remember. Judge William Missouri is a man I greatly admired and at times feared. Feared that I would make a mistake, or be late for his court. He presented a firm and strict demeanor, but in reality, a gentle kindness was evident. Every day in his court was a teachable moment and I learned a lot from him. He clearly left a large footprint for those of us left behind. I share my strength and thanks to his family, friends, and coworkers. Greatness never leaves us.
